How an Amendment is proposed
2/3 Vote from both houses of congress
2/3 of the states request a constitutional convention (This has never been done in history)
How an Amendment is ratified (passed)
3/4 of states have to choose to ratify (pass) the amendment
Congress can set time limit on amendment ratification (7 years)
